Davide Monteleone is a photographer and artist whose research embraces image-making, journalism, and writing. The most recurring themes in his work are geopolitics, identity, data, and the interaction between image and science.
He is a regular contributor to major magazines such as National Geographic, Time, and The New Yorker.Monteleone’s output has been presented in galleries and museums around the world, including the Saatchi Gallery in London, the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, the MEP in Paris, the Palazzo Delle Esposizioni in Rome, and the Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles.
Monteleone’s awards include a Grant (2023) and a Fellowship (2019) from National Geographic Society, a Carmignac Photojournalism Award (2013), and several World Press Photo.
Holder of an MA in Art and Politics from Goldsmiths University of London, Monteleone is active as a curator and educator for numerous public and private institutions.
