Claudio Composti (Milano 1973) is an independent curator, art dealer and artistic director-founder of mc2gallery in Milan for the past 10 years, specialized in photography.

In 2016 he created the online platform Periscope Photoscouting, for the discovery and valorization of young photographer artists, both Italian and international.

From 2018, he has been a consultant and artistic director of the private collection of the Hotel Plaza et de Russie di Viareggio, managing all gallery exhibitions in preparation and artist residencies.
In 2018, he wrote an essay about the photography market, published in the book ““Fermo Immagine: arte,vita e mercato della fotografia” curated by Maddalena Mazzocut-Mis and Chiara Spenuso ( Edition Mimesis).

In 2019, he has been invited to the Raffles Design Institute as an external professor of the Photography Masters and he collaborates with Leica Store&Gallery on photography exhibitions as a curator, in the Milan and Rome galleries.

He is a Folio Reviewer for various photography festivals, such as Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, Photolux Festival in Lucca, at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan and at Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles, France.
