Documentary photographer and photography teacher. Since 2009 she has developed her personal work in the Balkans, with a particular focus on Bosnia Herzegovina, Romania and Albania.
Her photographic practice is based on long-term involvement, the free appropriation of ethnographic practice, the exploration of narrative possibilities generated by the relationship between image and text.
Delta, won the Mallorca Prize for Contemporary Photography in 2021and became a book published by Ediciones Anómalas in 2022, nominated for the Photobook Award at Les Rencontres de la Photographie de Arles 2023.
The Great Father, realized in Albania between 2018/2023 with the collaboration of journalist Christian Elia, is the winning project of Fotografia Europea 2023 and the Bup Book Award 2023.
In 2011, in collaboration with the photographer Eugeni Gay Marin, she founded El Observatorio, a space devoted to photographic creation, specializing in visual narrative.
