Jordi Ruiz Cirera is an award-winning photographer working for leading international publications, non-profit and commercial clients. Alongside commissions, he develops long-term photo and film projects in which he explores themes such as migration, environmental and social issues. He is a recipient of Magnum FoundationÕs Emergency Fund and winner of The Taylor-Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, POYi, Lucie Awards and Magenta Flash Forward. In 2012 he was chosen AOP Student of the Year and in 2015 selected as MagnumÕs 30 under 30 and in 2023 shortlisted for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award. He is a member of Panos Pictures and Laif Agentur.
